"This is a fine cd of music written for bassoon and strings, which is a wonderful combination of instruments.

Benjamin's playing is gorgeous, and the selected pieces for his cd are full of musical substance. My favourite is Dirie's composition, plenty of poetical connotations and interesting sonorities.
