"Brave Combo the more than polka band from Denton, Texas has done it again with 'Polka's Revenge'! It's up for the Grammy and is certainly one of the best CDs of the year!
When I first received my copy I played it through once and loved it right from the git go. After it finished I was lucky to have the time so I could play it again!
Carl was busy on this disc with his creativity by warming us up with an instrumental lead off 'The Innocent Gadfly' then the lines
"We live our lives wild and free and fight for polka's dignity
It's an uphill battle no time to rest no, no, no, not at the polka fest"
are brought in the second track 'At the Polka Fest' and it's classic and up lifting & hopefull
Well, I could continue to write all kinds of positive and insightful stuff about Ann Marie's singing on 'Kiss Me, Sweetheart' & 'Picnic Polka' and Danny O'brien's amazing work with his horn on 'Crystal Pearls' and of course Jeffrey Barnes who can play just about any instrument which ads so much to the sound that is Brave Combo while Alan Emert keeps it all together on drums, but instead I'm gonna instead say, "Let's get Going" and order 'Polka's Revenge' right now because the sooner you order it the sooner you can enjoy it! Then you can add to the reviews of this great work of musical art!!!

P.S. If I didn't mention the great cover of the Who's 'I Can See For Miles' I would not be a rocker as it is!!! Visit Brave Combo's site - cleverly created 'Brave.com/bo'"
