Standing well over six feet tall, shaved head, and tattoos blazing, most people would assume that Brandon Jenkins is a hard rock act or at least a professional wrestler, but nothing could be further from the truth. As part of the: Red Dirt, music scene in Oklahoma for more than a decade, he has honed his skills and made a name for himself as one of the premier performing songwriters around. Now living in Austin, Texas, Brandon has assembled an incredible band and undertaken a hellacious touring schedule wearing out stages across the United States and Europe and writing songs for artists like Stoney LaRue, Bleu Edmondson, Lester Chambers and others. Teaming up with David Percefull for the first time since Down in Flames makes this new album, Faster Than a Stone, a reunion of sorts. All ten tracks are recorded with Brandon s band with guest appearances by Stoney LaRue, Travis Fite and Jesse Fritz. Brandon wrote all the songs on the disc with co-writers such as Stoney LaRue on: Never Any Doubt and: Till The Morning Comes and Scott Hutchison on: Just Like California.
