I fell in love with it. He has such a unique, beautiful yet mysterious and soulful sound and all the songs (the ballads and more uptempo ones) were so accessible yet creatively interesting that I had to have more. After that, I went on to obtain almost all his solo albums and several others that he plays on and NONE have disappointed me.
If you like smooth jazz, but want to break out of the formulaic mold that most smooth jazz albums have today, this is a great place to start." |
