"This album got heavy rotation by me in the early 90's this the first album to bet a classic rating in the Source when that meant something. Full of hits, Slow Down etc. Banger Son."

"Timeless classic by my favorite 5 percent brothers. sadat x, lord jamal, and grand puba's debut blew me away then and still supplies me with my hip hop fix antime I need it. Subject matter that was relevant then and still can apply to today's issues is another reason why this album will always matter in hip hop history. If you don't have this one your collection is suffering."
Hip Hop Classic!

"For those of you who read the Source, I must tell you that this album was a 5 mic album, the highest rating the magazine offers and one of only a handful of albums the magazine has deemed worthy of this rating. It is one of the greatest albums of all time, ranked up against other old school releases, it can stand side by side with Ultramagnetic, Kane, G Rap and BDP. The album came out in 1990 but sounds dope even today and the beats will definitely complement your system. Don't sleep on this release, if you listen to hiphop this cd is a mandatory for your collection!"
Brand Nubian deliver the goods!!!!!!!!

"Brand Nubian should have been given their props(record sales wise) for this CLASSIC album. In 1990, hip hop was MUCH different than it is today, and this album is one of the reasons why. Showing much consistency is topics from social and political awareness to relationships, Brand Nubian's debut album, One For All, is a testament in the history of hip hop music. Here's the review:Album Highlights: The ENTIRE album, there's NO filler here.Production: Thumbs Up.Lyrics and Subject Matter: Thumbs up.Originality: Thumbs up.The Last Word: This album is ABSOLUTELY brilliant. Brand Nubian exhibited a certain strength on this album, which is why it's still catchy today. If artists can release albums like this today, hip hop would be so much better. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this album. Buy this today."
Wake Up!!!

"This is a good purchase!! "All for One", "Ragtime", and "Dance to my Ministry" make this a good purchase by themselves. I for one, bought it for "Slow Down" and "Wake Up" both versions. The lyrics are pretty good and are definitely thought provoking. This is a good CD to listen to when you want a change of pace from today's Rap. It has real good music and the samples are treated well."
