Great saint-saens variations

"I have just gotten around to ordering this CD, and haven't yet heard the Brahms, but the Saint-Saens variations are fantastic. Northwest has had this recording on one of its classical channels on international flights for the past few months. I listened to it several times on the way to London last month, and a total of 5 times on the way to and from Tokyo last week! This is an exciting piece, and is brought to life here in a reading that is passionate and riotously entertaining. Highly recommended."
