With his long hair newly shorn, former Aviary frontman, Brad Love entered a Los Angeles studio in May of 1982 with producer, John Hug, to creat what would ultimately become one of the best-kept-secrets of his career: Colours. This 10-song exhibition of classically rocking piano, high vocal dexterity and genre defying orchestration, is nothing short of a masterpiece. Though it was first released internationally on a major label in March of 1983. 'Colours' has never been available on CD until now. This pristine album was recorded using only the finest analog equipment of the era, imprinting the kind of dynamics and warmth that could arguably rival most 20th century digital sound.
