"First point to make... this is the FIFTH full length album from Forrestville's own pop-punk legends, Bracket. And although 'Novelty Forever' was lacking a lot in old school Bracket style, 'When All Else Fails' makes up for it in spades. Retaining their edge but also taking their style to new heights this album lept up to being my favorite Bracket album of all time. Great production, greats content, and even better songs this album is a must for any Bracket-fan, fan of good music, or any old kook who feels that 'Green Day Has Lost Their Punk Identity, So Where Do I Get My Pop/Punk Fix?' Easy, from the band who has mastered it and had it all along... Bracket. Buy this album! (Fav. Songs: 'Cynically Depressed', 'All My Friends...', 'No Brainer'... um... and the rest of them they are all perfect.)BUY!"

"This a really good cd! Lots of vareity between all the songs (compare a song like A Place In Time to You/Me) , lots of memorable guitar riffs (Spazz) and you can tell the band is clever and has a sense of humor (Yoko Oh No, Happy Song, and Me Vs. The World) Fat Mike of NOFX also makes an apperance writing and playing guitar for the song "No Brainer". The cd is really well written and not a single song should be skipped! Buy It now!"

"I actually don't find myself listening to this nearly as much as I did when it first came out... But here's the skinny.Bracket is a good, under-rated band.
If you like good production, and catchy rockin songs, then check it out. Yes they are a FAT band, and yes, most of their stuff is "pop" and not so "punk". I wish people would lay off the FAT world because it's slick and "not punk enough". Bracket's music is heavy, tight, and quirky, with a lot of chromatic stuff in it. They got kind of a WEEZER meets NOFX type thing going on... Sort of... I dunno. All in all, this is probably their best so far. um, their lyrical topics are usually pretty depressing, so be aware of that."
Another fine release from Bracket.

"Here is another great one from Bracket. They sound like a mix of NOFX, the new Descendents, and MxPx, if those could be put together. I enjoy the happy sound, which follows in the goodly Fat tradition, yet the lyrics are heartfelt, both on the glad side and also the sad side. Buy this cd and spread the word. Bracket needs your support. ..."
