"The song No Matter What was originally from the musical Whistle Down the Wind. The music is written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and the lyrics by the greatest contemporary genius composer and lyricist Jim Steinman. Boyzone's version was produced by Lloyd Webber and Steinman with Nigel Wright. It's easily the best song Boyzone has recorded, and for me it was the greatest single of 1998. Beautiful melody, meaningful lyrics and powerful vocals from Ronan Keating and Stephen Gately. Boyzone's version of this song was included in the excellent album Songs from Whistle Down the Wind. You should also try listening to Meat Loaf's version and the cast album version of this song."
