Robbie Carrico of American Idol S7 was part of this group. Better than average typical kid group that was popular in the late 90's early 00's. Edel definitely had a good ear for late century pop. Worth a listen, keeper? Probably not. Glad he explored his rockier element on idol.

Great!

"Boyz N Girlz United may just be brushed off as another pop act, but, they don't deserve to be. Their CD showcases their amazing vocal talent for a type of group so basically unheard of. JC from NSync did a fabulous job with the 2 songs he wrote and produced for the group, "Messed Around" and "Can't Stop Loving You". Robbie and Daniel from BnG co-wrote "Dance With Me", and did a marvelous job. Their true vocal talents are showcased on "Beautiful You", "Lifetime", and the remake of "Always" by Atlantic Star. Other great tracks are "That's What You Get", and "They Say". They make you have fun, which is what music is suppose to do, right? "Lost", and the jazzy "Just Gotta Make You Mine" are great ways to end the CD. A definate must-have!"

"A boy-girl band cut from the same cloth as *NSYNC and Britney Spears, Boyz N Girlz United looked like they could have been just as big as those stars, but they fell incredibly short. Eventually, their label went under and they broke up. It's a real shame, as this album is filled with some incredibly good pop tunes. The opening cut "Messed Around", hits you like a punch in the face, it's so catchy. The group's vocals go together well on this track, along with other JC Chasez penned track "Can't Stop Loving You". Songs in the same vein as these two include "Dance With Me", "That's What You Get", and "Don't Get What You See". Other fun and catchy album tracks are "Beautiful You", "Just Gotta Make You Mine", and "Lost". The end of the album is padded with some totally poor extended dance mixes of "Messed Around" and "That's What You Get". As a fan of dance music, the remixes are just dissapointing. Despite those two minor lags in the tracklist, this is great little pop set. Shame they didn't get any real success and broke up. They could've been stars, but it wasn't meant to be. I wish them luck in their future ventures, and hope they are as good as this fun debut."
Good clean music for young people.

"As an adult, i'm very critical of today's pop music that is aimed at a youthful audience. So much of it is pure garbage, and i'm especially disappointed at the music industry at just how much trashy crappy rap music has invaded the top twenty pop charts and is polluting the airwaves. Boyz N Girlz United i picked up on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at how good this cd is. Sure, it's another packaged group of two guys and two girls who sing to programmed backup tracks, but the beats and music are good, and the vocals are all good. What i like most is that this cd is clean, and has content that is suitable for all ages to hear. The dance tracks are all solid and very catchy. The slow songs are not bad, with the best of the ballads being Beautiful You, of which the music perfectly compliments the vocals. The weakest song on the whole disc is Lifetime, which is a forgetable slow song, and i generally skip over. Otherwise, the rest of the songs are very good. The song Always is a remake of an 80s song by Atlantic Star. The original version is pretty good, though not outstanding, and i'm just wondering why that was chosen as a remake? I do have to admit that the new version showcases the vocals and harmonies of the group really well. All in all this is a good cd to pick up for anyone who likes NSync, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Five, or any of the other current teen groups. The dance music has a similar vibe to those groups. I have the feeling this will be the only cd from this group, as many of these groups tend to be one-time-only packaged marketing experiments to see what will and won't work. In this case it did work, and i enjoyed this cd very much."

"Hey[.]I LOVE music[.] And I'm always looking for new singers, bands etc. Mostly I listen to pop and R&B,so when I finally found a new group I was thrilled. And the best things about this group is that there are boys and girls in it. Something for everyone!!!
I just bought this album and it ROCKED[!] I saw the cd case and the name of the group and I knew that this cd was worth my time. So I listened to it and from that moment on I was HOOKED[!]
I immediately ordered it. It's true. The album is filled with upbeat popsongs, which I like. They have real funky beats, you just wanna get up and dance. When I listened to the first songs,I just had to sing a long with them. There are a couple of slow songs on the album too,so you don't have to worry. Personally I don't like slow songs, but I guess they're nice. So my advice is: *If you like upbeat popsongs and catchy slow songs, this is the album for you [.]*Hope this review helps.Bye and don't forget 2 smile :-)"
Quite A Disappointment

"I saw this group on a tv special and instantly fell in love with the song That's What You Get, a funky, dirty pop, jam reminiscent of Nsync and Britney Spears. The album starts off very well living up to expectations that this will be fantastic dance pop album. The first three tracks Dance With me, Messed Around, and Can't Stop Loving You, anre fantastic, fun, and funky tracks that will get you movin. However, the album takes a turn for the worse after these tracks. The album then becomes quite boring, uninspired, and the group sounds vocally tired. The group have good voices but lose energyg halfway through the album. Quite a disappointment considering the strength and energy of the first few songs. All fans of Nsync and Britney Spears should get this album, especially since JC of Nsync wrote 3 of the tracks(which happen to be the best songs). On a good ending note, the album contains remixes of the the JC penned track Messed Around and That's What You Get."
