"i hope u read this. i actually just read an article on The boys in XXL's Hip Hop soul magazine. XXL has a R&B mag they put out every 3 months. I just discovered it last the weekend of august 1st. the boys left their label because the label wanted them to "sell out" and become more "hard core" like abc and criss cross. the boys jumped ship sorta and went to The Gambia to study eastern indian philosophies in search of a higher purpose. ~~who knew they were so spritual?~~~ they recorded 11 mothrland inspired LPs under the name Suns of Light. during this time the oldest, Khiry was in LA trying to break into film direction. however, during his visits to the gambia, he sang a little on the cds. everyone is back in the states now working on music. the article doesnt say what kind of music. the article is short and brief but it gives us the heads up on what's going on with The Boys. heck it lead me to amazon to try to find a cd or tape :). i think amazon has it a little high. i may check out a local spot known for keeping track of oldies but goodies. u should really check out that mag xxl presents hip hop soul. this session has neyo and kiesha cole on the front."
