Almost as good as seeing Box Set in concert!

"I was introduced to Box Set as an acoustic duo act when I sawthem open for Huey Lewis, so listening to the Live Duo CD was likereliving their concert. Box Set is so great live because of the banter between Jim and Jeff; it's fun to listen to them joke around and talk a little about each song. The CD is 2 discs of live recordings, which means Box Set is stripped down to the basics - two guys and their acoustic guitars. This isn't a slight to the other members of their full band, but Jim and Jeff are so talented that they don't need a whole band to sound good.Favorite songs on this album are "Loretta", "X-mas '95", "Long Black Ribbon", "Poets", and a terrific version of "Back to You". Heck, every song on the CD is good! Now go check out all their other albums! (Especially their first one, the self-titled "Box Set".) END"
Tight harmonies and terrfic songs

"It's all about the music, not the production and studio effects. Two guys with acoustic guitars, great vocals and sweet harmonies and an appreciative audience. Put the CD in, pour yourself a glass of wine and listen to a terrific set of both lively and mellow songs. Box Set is one of those bands that'll probably never hit it big, but deserve a much wider audience. You won't be disappointed."
