"Spiritual, political, social needs and ingenious music combine to create musical ambrosia. It makes a lovely companion to "The Serpant and the Rainbow" which is a fascinating study into Haitian Vodoun. As an interesting side note, I will add that I was introduced to both of these by a fellow reviewer, Kevin L. Nenstiel."
