Great Surf 60's style!

"If the Beach Boys essence was ever transferred over to a modern surf band, it was hand-delivered to this fine band of Northwest kids (apparently they are grown up now and play killer rock 'n' roll...try THEIR "The Set-Up" CD).This CD has great sounds not heard since the heyday of surf and drag music (1963...before the Beatles killed it) with very good songwriting. Great singing and guitar playing, too.I recommend this CD for fans of surf, 60's sounds and rock 'n' roll in general."
Way better songs than previous release

"simply put this cd is cool. i heard 2 tracks from it on campus radio last year and i bought it at Rainy Day and i was NOT AT ALL disappointed. this album is better than their first and ALL original too - thats what i'm into more than anything - i cannot find their more obcure releases but from what i've heard this tops the first release pretty well. i bought a record player just so i could play their picture disc single from this album which kicks. i'm looking for the new record MOVE but I cannot find it anywhere for sale yet."
Could not keep my eyes open.

"This record is good for one thing and thats for people that have insomnia. I recomend Satans Pilgrims, or The Bomboras. I had to return this record."

"'13' is by far their best release to date (although its from 1997) as far as Dionysus discs - the songs are great and the playing is killer as far as the 'trad' scene goes as its called by so many. I'm just now old enough to get into the clubs where they've played in LA so I missed they're last show here but I was told it was KILLER - not all gimmick! The Boss Martians deliver the tone - the songs - the package - the whole thing. They're in my top 3 list for sure. My favorite track is HOT FOOT! More fuzz please! It is cool that their vocals are GREAT - and that make it nice in combination with the INSTROS! tomM"
