"This album basically samples every album that the boredoms have put out to date. If you know the Boredoms you will probably have fun trying to place what songs and discs the various samples come from. It starts out with Super Roots seven, and the remix of that part does do it pretty good justice. All in all this recording represents the Boredoms fairly. At the 12:20 time marker he mix's Super Are and Pop Tatari at the same time and it has a rather interesting result. Some of the recording is rather annoying and contains non boredoms stuff on it like a sample around the 16 minute mark. It only lasts a minute and a half, but is annoying enough that you'll want to turn it off. I suggest you just fwd through that part. The album contains 1 track 46 minutes and 3 seconds long. It's Full title is "The Boredoms Rebore Vol. 1 Unkle DJ Mitkusu" The track title is Dysfunctional Monster Jam (Non-Stop DJ Mix). If you are a fan of the band this would br a good one to add to your collection. Having heard it I would probably by volume 2 if it comes out. Another thing worth noting is that the artwork and reartwork on the cover is by Ukawa J. Naohiro. It's interesting in itself, and I believe it is a Shisa dog.....but I might be wrong."
Boretastic!

"Every ounce of this recording is enjoyable, uplifting, and cathartic, particularly if you happen to be a fan of both UNKLE and Boredoms. This may be my favorite of the Rebore comps (or perhaps it's a tie with eYe's Volume 0: Vision Recreation mix), and is certainly the most listenable overall. Some Boredoms purists are troubled by the sample of Mike D spelling out "UNKLE" that is sprinkled throughout the mix, but that's a bit like being upset that there is both peanut butter AND chocolate in a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Personally, I think it's pretty clever, considering that UNKLE also incorporates numerous samples of "B-O-R-E" from throughout the Boredoms' catalog over the course of this mix. It's also fitting, considering the occasional use of samples in Boredoms' own back catalog ("52 Boredom (Club Mix)" anyone?) Overall, if you have an ear for amazing experimental music, this mix ought to tickle your fancy, and if you don't, it won't."
