"I didn't come across this work of Bootsy's until 2001, when I heard some of the tracks on a video game. I searched and found what seemed to be the last copy in town. I am glad I did. This is one of the most enjoyable albums in my collection. Bootsy's bass is the backbone of the work, but not the focus. It is unlike his typical gaudy but glorious self serving freaky funkathons. Bootsy's bass and melodies combine with the rythmic rappings of various hip hop artists. These different artists throughout the album help keep perspectives fresh on each track. There are also incredible vocal performances woven into the mix. The gospel interlude three minutes and thirty seconds into "Wind Me Up" is worth the price alone. The album is crystal clear and skin tight. It is perfect for parties, and know this... it will make you dance. In summary I highly recommend this album. Whether you are down with Bootsy already or new to his legendary scene, if you enjoy funk and hip hop, you will love this album too."
