The Wonderful Wizards of Dub

"Initially sold to me as "big beat", Boom Boom Satellites (named after a Sigue Sigue Sputnik track, apparently) are closer to sonic terrorists than anything to do with record label Skint's roster. Live drummer, guitarist (and part-time sample magician) and keyboards doesn't really tell half the story about just how loud they can be. The second CD in this album is a bunch of remixes, the best of which (and probably the best thing they've ever done) is the Wizard of Dub remix by the Dons of Quixote - searing black metal guitar riff over pounding beats and samples. Nothing cerebral, just wonderful, ear-bleeding fun."
