Album Description

In 1967, 1968 & 1969 the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band recorded no less than 13 sessions for Radio 1. Seven for Top Gear, two for Saturday Club, Two for Symmonds on Sunday, one for Dave Lee Travis & one for Radio 1 Club. The cultural range of these programs demonstrates the width of the audience for the Bonzos' unusual tomfoolery. Includes the classic 'Monster Mash' & two versions of Bonzos' trademark 'I'm The Urban Spaceman Baby', one with full band & one acoustic version by Neil Innes from 1986. 20 tracks. 2002.
