Synopsis

Album Description
Audio-biography + interviews and a free mini-poster The 1980's were the heyday of American rock music. Legions of bleach blonde spandex-wearing rock musicians were born, spawning countless classic rock hits. When the dust settled, Bon Jovi were amongst the few that survived. 'Maximum Bon Jovi' tells the story of their origins and follows them as they continued to go from strength to strength scoring hit singles and million-selling albums. Their tale is one of patience, hard work and survival against the odds.

CD Reviews

Waste of money

"If you're looking to acquaint yourself with the history of rock and roll super-group Bon Jovi, this is not the source to choose. It's filled with inaccuracies that demonstrate an utter lack of research into even the most readily available biographies of the band. Simple facts are missed: Jon's mother's name is Carol, not Cindy. The former manager's name is Doc, not Don. Richie was the last to join the band, not Tico (who is not the oldest founding member, by the way). The most successful single is "Always," not "Living On a Prayer." Neither Desmond Child, nor anyone else, co-wrote any songs on "Blaze of Glory." Perhaps, the most unforgivable mistake is with the biographer's failure to get the correct name of a Bon Jovi CD: it's "Cross Road," not "Crossroads." Some band biography! This collection is simply an effort to make money off a group with a large fan base. Little effort was put into compiling an accurate history. Only if you're one of those avid, must-have-everything fans should this CD go into your collection."
