"Although this is an excellent document of Bob Marley's superb playing (even this close to his untimely death), this recording is not without its drawbacks. The sound is pretty rough (it sounded like a high-quality audience bootleg on first hearing), and as much as I revere Bob, his singing is uncharacteristically out of tune in a couple of spots (you might even characterize the Redemption Song as "painful"). That said, this is still a must-have for any Marley fan. Some might even argue that the sound quality and the crowd noise help put across the excitement of the performance. Perhaps the best thing about it is the wide scope of the material: from Natty Dread all the way to Redemption Song."

"I have this exact same marley concert except on this on they just cut off some songs from the other cd from the same concert, so I just got the same cd i already own except this on is worse with sound in a way, if you get the BOB MARLEY and The Wailers Germany'80 its the same exact concert, except this has the full concert set, Dortmond Germany '80 is the same as Germany'80 so beware, one has better sound and more songs then the other and its the same concert. GERMANY'80 is the better one"
Excellent show...excellent recording.

"If you're jonesing for more Marley beyond Babylon By Bus, this is a great purchase. Very good recording and a lively performance. Some songs in this show are featured on the "Time Will Tell" video, which is also a must-have."

"Being a crazed Marley fan for the past 15 years or so I am always on the lookout for new material. I have purchased a few of these Japanese label CDs and the quality is always suspect. However in this case the quality is very good. I would put this on top of the Live At The Lyceum and Babylon by Bus from Island records. The key aspects that I enjoy about this are:Huge baseline, Great vocals, Much more instrumental engineering and the audience is awesomeIt is worth every penny!!!!!!"
