"Bob Catley has released yet another masterpiece! His soaring vocal style suits Gary Hughes' songwriting to a tee. The albums highlights include: Tender Is The Night (About the death of Marilyn Monroe), A Beautiful Night For Love (based on Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights) and Shelter From The Night (about Dracula). These are story songs of the highest quality. I have always loved this type of song, and these are truly at the top of my list of favorites! This album is a must for any fans of Magnum! If you loved albums like "On A Storyteller's Night" You will love this! When I got this album it went into constant play. It is truly awesome!"

"Having been a fan of Magnum's for over ten years, I was apprehensive as to how Bob would manage without his right-hand-man from Magnum, guitarist and songwriter Tony Clarkin.I need not have worried - some of the tracks on this album IMHO are even better than anything Magnum ever recorded. Highlights are A beautiful night for love, Shelter from the night, and Where the Heart is.Pure brilliance."
