"(...), this is one of the rockinest bo Diddley's cd out there, and you'll be lucky if you can find it. (...) This cd contains two lp's onto one cd, and it's not a "GREATEST HITS" collection, go get a greatest hits compilation if you want your ""Help Out," but for those who want more than just the hits, and for those who want to hear Bo in his artistic rockin' blues element, hsi orihinal lp works, this is perfest. Every track on this sounds "hit worthy" and there are several hits here, and the music is energetic jumpin' rockin' blues with Diddley's trademark vocals and rhythmic guitar, lacking melody! Awesome stuff."
Excellent Bo Diddley

"This is a British CD containing tracks from two LPs released in England in 1963 and 1964. The first one, "Bo Diddley Rides Again", mixes tracks from the 50's from different US LPs, while the second one, "In The Spotlight", mainly contains tracks from the early 60's (even in stereo). This is great stuff, typical "jungle music" Bo Diddley-style. It's also of historical interest, as these British LPs followed up a Bo Diddley-tour in England (in 1963) and were quite a success saleswise. Bo Diddley in fact became a big cult figure of the British beat boom of 1963-64, long after he had been established as a rock'n'roll/ rhythm & blues star in the USA. He influenced British groups like The Rolling Stones, and this was the Bo Diddley music they were listening to in their formative years!"
