CD Reviews
Stole the name?

"If this is the group's first release, they stole their name from one of independent hip-hop's best artists who put out his first release, Up to Speed, with Greenhouse Effect in 1999. I doubt it was intentional, but regardless, if you all are reading this, CHANGE THE NAME!"
Wuss rock not hip hop

"Not the Blueprint I was expecting. I wish there was something to differentiate between the two. If you are looking for the Blueprint that is half of Soul Position, keep looking. Bummed"
Not the Rap Artist but Talented Acoustic Rock Band
San Diego Fan | San Diego, CA | 01/26/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)
"People who want to buy the rap artist should not purchase this cd - this is from an acoustic rock band in California. I've followed the band since I saw them tour through here a few years ago. They released an excellent cd (and according to their Myspace account hold the trademark to the band name Blueprint). No need to write the nasty reviews like the others below - just pay attention and DON'T order this cd if you want the rap artist. It's not that hard to figure out what they sound like by listening to the track listings... a little bit of work would have saved those reviewers the trouble."
Next Big Thing!

"Blueprint has a great sound. These are talented guys. Darren McClure has an awesome voice, and writes some deep and meaningful lyrics, that everyone can relate to. I predict this band will be a big success someday very soon! A good crossover album, with a bit of alternative, a bit of rock and catchy lyrics you can sing along to. Dont miss out, I think this first album will someday be a rare collector's item!"
Radio rock of the unkown

"I was extremely impressed with the quality of this record. The music reminds me of modern radio stuff but it has a unique vocal quality to it. I would recommend this for people looking to discover new artists in the vein of modern radio rock."
