BLUE ON GREEN's CD "Love That You Want" features original blues guitar and folk inspired music. The band's sophomore effort features a beautiful flute performance on the original middle-eastern tune entitled "Baladi" and a rocked-up version of "Whisky In The Jar" -- having more energy than the Metallica version heard on popular radio. Rob Wullenjohn shares the vocal duties with Nancy Hall on the albums title track, with a performance that evokes the energy of two singers performing live in front of an audience. The song, Silver & Gold is adapted from the Quicksilver Messenger Service tune - Gold and Silver which was inspired by the Jazz tune, Take Five. Blue on Green is a six-piece Blues and Celtic rock band. The band pushes the limits of blues-rock music by blending traditional blues slide guitar with San Francisco-style rock and then finishes off with good old Celtic dance tunes.
