""Tonight its Now or Never" wins this year's award for the most apt title of a rock and roll album. Modern Southern rock troubadors Blue Mountain recorded it at a live show in Chicago shortly before the be band called it quits for good in the midst of declining studio album sales and the breakup of the marriage between the band's two leaders. During their time together, Blue Mountain recorded some of the best music ever in the "alternative country" movement. Now this double live album serves as their swansong. That said, most of the performances on the album, while lively, do not substantially improve upon the original recordings. There songs are a good mixture of country, blues and straight ahead rock and roll and mostly tell stories of small town life and Americana. In between songs, the band banters with the crowd and comes off as a group that enjoys performing. It's a shame that their career wasn't more successful."
A must have for blm fans

"How fitting that the first time I saw them in concert I fell in love with their music. Now the last I will hear from them is on a live album. Without being there, this captures them live at their best. I'll miss the music."
