"Though best known for their barnstorming Rockabilly attack. This latest release from Indiana's Blue Moon Boys shows a slight departure from that style. In this case, the lads are running amok through a vast range of new territory. To give a few examples. Try to imagine (if you can) a world where Brian Jones persuades the Rolling Stones to record surf album featuring Special Guest: Porter Waggoner! Or..how about Hank Snow jamming out with The Descendents. And last, but certainly not least- Envision Eddie Cochran (as ET) phoning home to Eddy Rabbitt from Heaven with a new idea for his latest disc. Yep, these are the some of the weird sounds reaching out to me as I crank it up! Although not quite as crucial to ones collection as the top notch, "Live In New York" CD. "Sticks And Stones", with a few listens, can prove to be just as rewarding."
