"For swing dancers, this band is a dream come true. Alicia Aragon, who swing dances herself, makes sure the tempos are right for jitterbuggers, and lindy hoppers alike. Aragon has a "barrelhouse" goodtime style vocie in the tradition of Helen Humes, Ella Mae Morse, added with a style all her own! Eric Lieberman plays guitar in the classic Oscar Moore(Nat Cole Trio)/Charlie Christian style. The honking sax adds to the jukeoint late 40's sound. Great boogies, jumps and swing tunes. Classic original inspired arrangements are added with hot swingin' originals. A great tasty cd that will take you back to about 1949 r&b/swing. I saw these guys live last night and couldn't keep myself off the dancefloor, and it was packed with swing dancers galore! This is a unique authentic sounding combo, and this cd is exellent for those of us who love and remeber the original artists that they pay tribute to like Julia Lee and T-Bone Walker. Greagt, and greasy stuff. There is even a mambo/swing type number that is reminiscent to something Big Maybelle or Ruth Brown would have done in the early 50's. Again, I can't reccoment this to you highly enough, just BUY IT!!!"
