"Wow, Blue Cheer. Long before Deep Purple took the Guiness record for loudest band alive, this three-man power trio was knocking the plaster from the ceilings of older theatres across this great land. But not just loud, GOOD. This is what hard-rock has always been about. Paul Whaley, the drummer of the band, is still, to this listener's ears, one of the all-time greats. His sound was so full and his attack without peer. Stories had it that he played while wearing gloves and he still came away blistered and bloodied on occasion. All I know is this release is one of the vinyl albums that I moved to CA from NY and I still find myself humming parts of Feathers From Your Tree. Wanna know what it was all about? Buy this!!"

"This is by far BLUE CHEERS' best album to date The power trio out did themselves on this one. To pick apart every song would take to long. To pick a favorite is hard but I would have to pick BABYLON. Leigh Stevens lead solo with the wah pedal is just great. as all the songs on this album. buy it and you will love it Blue Cheer rocks. Still the best band around."
