"This is some of Blink-182 best work...they matured alot since T.O.Y.P.A.J. It's different, and by different i mean good...But Mark didn't get to sing enough...Too much of Tom, and Mark has the better voice
Okay, so i gave each song a rating 1-10, 1 being worst, 10 (of course) being best.Feeling This- this is the first single off the album (as most fans would know) and it's a good way to start the album...it kinda reminds me of "What's My Age Again?"- 9.5Obvious- This song is kinda heavy metal-ish (not much like Blink-182's usual stuff, so i was kinda surprised)- 8.5I Miss You- A little like the BOXCAR RACER song "There Is..."
It was okay, but a little too soft- 8Violence- This is one of the best songs on the album. Pure Hard Rock- 10Stockholm Syndrome- I usually skip the letter part, but otherwise, this is a great song. Really fast-paced- 10Down- Really different song compared to stuff like Enema and T.O.Y.P.A.J. It's still a pretty good song- 9The Fallen Interlude- I skip this alot, except when i'm really bored. It's just a boring song- 4.5GO- Great song, but i thought the beginning was kinda weak.- 7.5Asthenia- My favorite song on the album. Great tune...about a guy lost in space in a car.- 10 (i'd give it a 20 if i could)Always- Very retro. It's really 80's-ish. Really good- 9.5Easy Target- Love the drumming. Really fast-paced- 9.5All Of This- They got the lead singer of The Cure to sing on this song. There was, like, one line in the chorus where Tom got to sing. Took away BIG from the song- 5.5 (i have a soft spot...The Cure was their favorite band)Here's Your Letter- Very much like Obvious...- 8.5I'm Lost Without You- Great song to have on a movie Soundtrack...longest song by far (about 6 minutes) Really good though- 7.5"

"this is easily one of blink's best cd's yet. it's so different from anything eslse that they've done and you can tell that they put alot more work into this album, b/c the songs are so great. i mean you can't expect them 2 b writing about getting drunk and masturbating forever. this just goes to show that they take their music more seriously than jokes and that they r growing up to be tight musicians. i still say that "enema" is prolly their best album ever, but this new one gives it a close run for it's money. i can't wait to see them on tour1 and for their next cd!! i love you guys!! you rock it dosn't matter what you do next!plus there are still a couple fast paced songs"

"Out of all of Blink 182's c.d's ( Cheshire Cat, Buddha, Dude Ranch, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, and Enema of the State.) I have to say that this is my favorite. It seems that since their last release, Enema of the State, they have greatly matured. This is most evident in their lyrics. They've gone a long way from
" I want to f*&^ a dog in the a*^,"
To their new single I Miss You.
" Don't waste your time on me your already the voice inside my head."
More of the songs on " Blink 182" revolve on romantic yearning, or heartbreak, compared to their old albuuums, which concentratd mainly on partying, sex more partying, and an occasional ditty about a broken family. I'm not sayiing that I disliked these songs, in fact I loved them, I just felt that it was beggining to become repetitive. I think that Blink 182 reached the point in their career where they had to create something totally new and differant, to be able to grow as musicians and songwritters. Another thing I love about this album, was the collaboration with Robert Smith on " All of this." I am a huge fan of The Cure, and Robert Smiths voice contrasts Tom's beautifully. Every single track on this c.d is worth listening to, over and over again. I would highly recomend purchasing this, but be warned, its probably not the Blink 182 your used to."

"Listen up, people! This is an awesome Blink album. Dont listen to that retard below who said "Blink 182 really needs to think the path they're taking over again". That's the opinion of some little 12 year old who does'nt understand anything anyway. Every band should grow and mature if they dont want to be left behind. How boring would it be if Blink released the same old album every year? It would get old real quick. Look, my point is that true fans of Blink will love this new sound. If you are just a one dimensional, casual fan who loved Blink for their immature lyrics you probably wont like this. But then again, those so-called "fans" probably think Blink's first album was "Enema of the State"."
Their Best, and Hopefully Not Last

"Here's a breakdown of the songs:
1) Feeling This - This song is awesome, and it's an excellent way to start the album. My favorite song here. 10/10
2) Obvious - Very loud, nice guitar rif in the middle of it. 9/10
3) I Miss You - The big hit off of this album, very different from the usual Blink-182. It's a good song, though. 10/10
4) Violence - The verses are spoken instead of sung. It sort of adds a nice touch to the song. 9/10
5) Stockholm Syndrome - Great, fast paced song. 10/10
6) Down - I like the guitar in this song, great riff. 10/10
7) The Fallen Interlude - Hmmmm....very intersting. Travis's drumming is great, that's all I can say about it. 7/10
8) Go - Great, catchy song about Mark's father. Too bad it's so short. 10/10
9) Asthenia - I don't care for the transmissions at the beginning, but the rest of it is good. Tom's voice sounds weird. 9/10
10) Always - Another single. Drumming is great, just another abnormal Blink-182 song that everyone likes. 9/10
11) Easy Target - Nice, refreshing fast song. 10/10
12) All of This - Features the lead singer from The Cure. Basically the same as Easy Target (music-wise) 8/10
13) Here's Your Letter - Gets stuck in my head sometimes. Great bass in this song. 8/10
14) I'm Lost Without You - Sometimes I have trouble hearing the verses because Tom's voice is so quiet here. An OK way to close the album. 8/10
Well, although this album is very different from all of the other Blink-182 albums, don't hesitate to get it. I'm hoping that someday they'll get back together again to keep it coming.
