With the sudden death of frontman Shannon Hoon, Blind Melons fantastic career was cut far too short. That is why EP releases like this one are so important to the legacy.
This disk has some stripped down versions of No Rain and other classics.
A must have for people like me whom grew up with this amazing band.

"this isn't just a single, it's a five song EP. 1. Change (LP Version) 2. Changed 3. No Rain (Ripped Away Version) 4. Candy Says (Country Jellyfish Version of Lou Reed composition) 5. Paper Scratcher (Acoustic). Now this is only five songs, but three of them aren't available anywhere else, well except for No Rain. I guess two of them are previously unavailable, and the Stripped Version of No Rain is on the best of collection that came out not to long ago. I almost bought the Best Of just becaue this version of No Rain is so superior to the original (acording to the band, not just myself) and the "way that they[we] intended the song to be heard..." That alone is worth the three measly bucks most drop shippers want for this OOP jem, so hurry up and grab this jewel before everyone else catches on. There aren't any box sets or good collections for these guys and a lot of this stuff has been out of print for almost ten years, and it's becoming more and more scarse; BUY THIS NOW IF YOU LIKE BLIND MELON!"
