"I think this CD was a turning point for Blind Guardian although they already had acquired some fame after their second album "Follow the Blind". I like their refined and carefully created recent albums but this album brought out their several different characters in a very very good mix. It's heavy, melodic, rough, fast, and powerful. It has been 9 yrs since I bought this album and I still listen to it on daily basis. Great album."
Is it "Guardian's" best ...?

"...I don't want to answer this question (in fact I can't). But if one wants to recommend a band, one has to decide for one or two CDs. In case of Blind Guardian, I have always chosen "Somewhere far Beyond" or "Tales from the Twilight World". It can't be said that "Tales from the Twilight World" is Blind Guardian's best CD; it goes along with Blind Guardian's consistent concept of variety (=no CD is alike the previous one). I only think that "Tales from the Twilight World" was the first to reveal musical and thematical variety in itself. It is a good example of Blind Guardian's admirable skill of arranging powerful and melodically complex speed-(or "power-")metal which does not impose itself on the listener by high pitched voices or platant power-chord themes. Lyrically "Tales from the Twilight World" basically covers fantasy themes (eg.: Frank Herbert's "Dune", J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings", Stephen King's "Tommyknockers")."
No words to describe this album!!!

"Blind guardian's best albums are Tales from...Hall, Somewhere far Beyond and Imaginations From the Other Side. What makes this album different than the other two is the speed, the melody and the raw power that it inspires the listener. Ask all metal fans and they will tell that it is one of the best heavy-speed-power metal albums of all times!!!"
