This CD comprises Bing Crosby performing songs by the partnersip of Johnny Burke and James Van Heusen the team that was to produce some of the most successful songs in Bing's long and illustrious career. Many of the songs listed are from rare radio transcriptions and they are notable for the inclusion of duets with Bob Hope, Judy Garland and The Andrews Sisters In 1945 Bing appeared as Father Chuck O'Malley for the second time in 'The Bells Of St. Mary's' (his first outing being in the movie 'Going My Way'. The title song, The Bells Of Saint Mary's and In The Land Of Beginning Again were revivals. So all Burke and Van Heusen had to do was collaborate on Aren't You Glad You're You? which made the Top 10. To close the CD we have included a radio adaption of the movie which apart from Bing also includes Ingrid Bergman and Joan Carroll.
