"I'm not sure what his problem is.. but he is wrong on many points. To begin with, the shag is not a "sped up" version of the swing dance... its a slower, more smooth version. And.. most of the music is NOT done by "aging white men in sansabelt pants". The cd he "reviewed" was done by Billy Scott, who is a black man. The review he did was so wrong, in my opinion it needs to be removed from this site. I do own this series and I think buying it is a good way to jumpstart your collection of Carolina Beach Music..."
