"FINALLY! A JAZZ DRUMMER WHO ISN'T SO FULL OF HIMSELF. THE MUSIC REALLY SHINES IN THIS CD, AND COBHAM SHOWS WHY HE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST DRUMMERS IN THE WORLD, THE DRUMMING IS SO TASTEFUL, AWESOME TECHNIQUE, AND STYLE. GREAT GUITAR SOLO'S, BRIAN AUGER PLAYS SOME OF THE KEYBOARD PARTS, BUT JUST SO YOU KNOW,THE BAND COBHAM IS PLAYING WITH; NOVECENTO, ARE A FAMILY OF FOUR, TWO WOMEN TWO MEN, KEYBOARDS, BASS, GUITAR, AND SINGER. THE BASS PLAYER ROSANNA WILL BLOW YOUR MIND,AND THAT'S JUST TO START, THIS FAMILY IS SO TALENTED, IT'S SCAREY. THE KEYBOARD PLAYER BLEW ME AWAY, ALONG WITH THE SINGER AND GUITAR PLAYING. PLEASE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO BUY THIS CD, IT WILL BE A BLESSING TO THEM."

"first, i should say, i think billy's best stuff is 'spectrum', but spectrum, this album is not (as yoda might say). and that's a good thing...if you like variety.
it's nice, kick-back, funkin' funk. some tracks have vocals, which is nice and classy. after the initial listening i had to repeat the album several more times. nice stuff!!
anyway, this has become my second favorite cobham album. a must have for any cobham fan or enthusiast, like myself."
