What a novel idea---a remix collection that gets it RIGHT!

"How often are we bombarded and let down by remix collections from great dance artists, only to find that all the rare tracks we've desperately been searching for are either edited, beatmixed together, or totally left off the collection? Here, you are given almost ALL full length club mixes, including 2 by Junior Vasquez, who put Billie Ray on the map with his remix of "Your Loving Arms" a decade ago. Predominantly house mixes, there are also a handful of slower grooves to choose from for each of the 4 songs, making this like one MAJOR maxi single. Track times:
1. 18 carat garbage (junior) (9:34)
2. where fools fush in (matty) (6:39)
3. i've never been to memphis (hacienda) (6:07)
4. 18 carat (lunatek) (6:05)
5. systems of silence (oliver moldan) (3:44)
6. where fools (rumble in the kitchen) (6:26)
7. 18 carat (ralf gum) (8:14)
8. systems of silence (junior) (7:52)
9. i've never been (oliver moldan) (9:32)
10. 18 carat (nudisco) (3:27)
11. where fools (matty) (5:03)
12. i've never been (zerocrop) (5:36)"

"Recently, I've been collecting everything BRM has ever done, at least what's available from iTunes. She's just awesome, this white girl from Germany has some lungs on her....I can't believe what comes out.
About this album, I found this for $9.99 on iTunes, and it's a great addition to owning the 18 Carat Garbage album. Though only 4 out of her 13 songs from the original album are on this recycled version, each remix is never the same. The production on this is stellar, and definitely spice up the somewhat 'less dance-oriented' original tracks into dancefloor material or good for gym workouts.
Favorite remixes are 18 Carat Garbage (Junior Vasquez Remix), I've Never Been to Memphis (Hacienda's Sideburns Mix), Where Fools Rush In (Rumble In the Kitchen Mix), and Systems of Silence (Oliver Moldan's Deep and Full Radio Edit). There are 12 tracks total on the album.
BRM is one of the most underrated artists out there, I can't believe she dosen't have a record deal in the U.S. Other BRM release recommendations: BRM New Demos 2003, No Brakes on My Rollerskates, Four Ambient Tales, Persuasion single, and of course, the original 18 Carat Garbage album."
