"It's Christmas in July!
You are HEREBY INVITED to Bill Mumy's best CD yet! It outdid all of my expectations for it, and then some...
Bill's music has a certain 'class' and 'feel' to it all of its own. There is no music around like it, really. It brings great depth and meaning to the music scene and should be heard around all ends of the Earth. It's hard to grasp the words for how good his new album CIRCULAR really is. This album is very inspirational, upbeat and brilliantly written. It's always interesting to listen to the songs and discover the meaning that Bill puts behind each and every one...even the title. Think about it. That's one of the things that I love about Mumy music...It makes you really think about emotions and the world we live in as it's set to beautiful music and vocals from a brilliant, true professional. His youthful but experienced qualities intrigue people of all ages.
There is so much variety in this album from the HOT and SEXY songs like "Never Gonna Stop" and "A Deals a Deal" in which Bill rocks it out more than ever before!...to the soothing songs like "Man of Pride," "Don't Have Anything," "Care," and "Hereby Invited" in which he puts his heart and soul into. - Four of my favorites! It's almost as if he weaves magic into each guitar string and powerful vocal chord. All of the songs are so different from one another! Everyone in the family will have a favorite and something they can relate to off of this album. My favorite is "The Heart's Fantasy" for so many reasons why -"Trying to be free of the heart's fantasy..." I love how the music is put together with Bill's vocals in ALL of the songs with outstanding lyrical talent! "Turn Yourself Around" is very inspirational - "Turn your head around, wishes come true." "Johnny's Gone to Heaven," and "The Past Won't Be Denied" are very heart felt and beautiful. "You Know You Never Know" is beautiful! "Circular Blues" is a great instrumental! "I'll Seeya Around" is the perfect ending song to this album.
If you're looking for something new, exciting and something totally different from anything else that is out there, CIRCULAR is just what you need. Get ready to get blown away by incredible vocals, outstanding music and amazing lyrics here! Sarah Taylor adds an enchantment to the songs that she sings during this album as well such as my favorite one she sings with Bill during - "History"...Their vocals go really well together with a charismatic blend to them. This album could easily go #1 on the charts around the world! The only way to describe this album is THE CIRCLE IS NOW COMPLETE, because this album will complete all of your music needs, and you will be left in a dream-like state of mind in complete amazement and wonder. You'll just be happy!
I would compare Bill's music right up there with the greats like Bob Dylan, because he always has a story to tell with each song, and he's going to tell it with such heart and passion with outstanding vocal and musical ability in the process. The way I see it, there was the time of the Beatles when their original music came around and changed the world that we live in...and now there is Bill Mumy music. Bill really rocked it out big time on this album yet soothed the hearts of anyone listening as well! His vocals are more powerful and sexier than ever. His instrumentals and music arrangements are more moving and beautiful than you ever could imagine! He plays acoustic and electric guitars, bass, keyboards, banjo, mandolin, melodica and the harmonica. The man has the talent!
And the winner for "album of the year" goes to Bill Mumy for CIRCULAR!"

"Bill Mumy Circular (Global Recording Artists/BCD) Though Bill Mumy (pronounced Moo-Me) is best remembered by many baby boomers such as myself for some of his extremely impressive appearances as a child actor in the early to mid-1960s, on TV shows like Twilight Zone, and as
Will Robinson of Lost In Space, along with nearly countless others, he has continued to act and record music as well; this superb album is only the latest example of Bill's ongoing career as a singer/songwriter. Unlike some celebrity releases Mumy's work could easily stand on it's own as worthwhile and interesting even if he pumped gas, or painted houses for a living. Amongst the fourteen songs here, one can clearly detect the stylistic influence of folks like Tom Petty, John Fogarty, John Prine, Chuck Berry, Richard Thompson, and Neil Young, but it's ultimately Mumy's artistic voice that emerges.
He's a politically aware and slightly angry guy on at least one song (eight years of one's country being run by an incompetent nitwit will do that to you) but mostly this is simply a fine showcase for Bill's considerable skills as a song writer, singer and storyteller. Man of Pride wouldn't have sounded too out of place on a CSN&Y album with a dash of latter day Badfinger tossed into the mix. The Heart's Fantasy is the best song Neil Young and Tom Petty never made together, while Don't Have Anything is simply one of the best love songs I've heard in a long time. The structure of History recalls Brian Wilson's Rio Grand and sections of Smile as well. And Hereby Invited could have been recorded by the Traveling Wilburys. But it's all very=2 0good stuff, uplifting, intelligent and highly accessible mid-tempo mellow melodic rock pop at it's finest.

"At first I purchased Bill Mumy CDs as a novelty items. Fun and different but definitely an amateur production. But, Bill's albums kept getting better. Bill's last two CDs, The Landlord or the Guest and Circular have been truly professional productions in every sense of the word. Bill's lyrics and music are polished to a fine sheen. The topics are varied and the style ranges from folk to light rock. There is not a note out of place. On many of the songs, Bill Mumy reminds me of Eric Clapton at his best. Except, Bill does not get the kind of recognition that Clapton commands and Clapton never was as good a songwriter as Bill Mumy has become."
A little something for all listening ears

"Bill Mumy has done it again and created another fine album with a little something for all listening ears.
Never Gonna Stop: I had to look at the lyrics first, which are available on Bill's website, but I really understand this song now. It rocks!
You Know You Never Know: Great music and lyrics with a catchy chorus!
Johnny's Gone To Heaven: This a beautiful dedication for the late John Stewart.
Man Of Pride: A beautiful and thoughtful song written by Bill Mumy and Gerry Beckley. It's a very special song.
Care: A very emotional song about caring or trying not to care, but goes back to caring. I love it a lot.
A Deal's A Deal: A fun song that rocks!
The Heart's Fantasy: If one of my favorite Bill Mumy albums, In The Current, could be wrapped up into one song, this is it.
Don't Have Anything: I love listening to this touching and heartfelt story.
Turn Yourself Around: This song has a nice beat and a positive feeling.
The Past Won't Be Denied: The sound of soft vocals and mellow music will work on soothing any troubles away.
History: This is a stellar song and very well done. I love listening to the vocals of Bill Mumy and Sarah Taylor. I can feel that there's two characters with a powerful bond, but with internal conflicts going on at the same time. It's like when one goes up, the other comes down.
Circular Blues: This is the only instrumental track. It sounds relaxing with a bluesy touch.
Hereby Invited: The music and words flow effortlessly out of this song.
I'll Seeya Around: This song is the shortest song on the album. It makes this album have a very classic ending.
