"I am a devoted Cash Money fan so trust me on this one. This is a great album. I realize they say they're game spitters but I see it like this: Manifresh can rap and Baby can't. That's all it is to it. The beats on the cd rock. The problem is, some songs with tight beats and chorus lyrics like "Rocky" are messed up with bad lyrics. The best songs are 2-Get Your Roll On, 4-#1 Stunna by Baby by himself (he actually did a good job) 7-We Aint Stoppin, 16-Rocky (notice the big gap) 15- Stuntastic, 17- Big Tymers the song. 18-Snake. They could of done alot better if they really put thier minds to it. Manifresh can produce beats and lyrics but he needs to give some tips to Baby. Buy the album, it is good with minor flaws. After buying this, wait till Turk's album comes out. Turk's gonna blow your mind."
The Perfect Example of Mainstream Junk

"I don't mean to be spoiler to anyone who has this CD but this CD is just mainstream hype. To put it bluntly, it's trash. The beats are pretty phat, but the lyrics are simple, unimaginative, repetetive and definitely one of the worst I ever heard. Turk is the only rapper that deserves some credit for his flowy lyrics. The rhyme schemes are ridiculously simple, like rhyming "do" and "too". The message is the same stupid one that is swarming the mainstream rap scene of (...), dough, gatz, only magnified times 10."

I HAVE TO ADMIT. . .

"I HAVE TO ADMIT that I was wrong. I wrote a review of this album after I first bought it, giving it only 1 STAR. Well I WAS WRONG. Before where I complained about the beats on the album, I see that Mannie Fresh just flipped the script on this one. I was expecting a right hand and he snuck in a left. Since I wrote that review I haven't been able to take the disc out of my CD player. If it's not playing at home, I'm playing it in my car. OF COURSE EVERYONE KNOWS that "Get Your Roll On" is off the hook, but it doesn't stop there. "#1 Stunna", "We Ain't Stoppin'", and "Stuntastic" are guaranteed hits. However I still stand by my statement that Ziggly Wiggly is a waste of space on a record. BUT DESPITE THAT, I can't believe that I missed how hot this album was the first time. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you a fan of Cash Money Records, you will definetly appreciate this."
They Got That Junk

"I've been listening to Big Tymers before they became fashionable and I can honestly tell you that they never made a great album. The closest they came to a decent album is How U Love That Vol. 2 and that album was fishy. This album is not their worst(that would be Hood Rich) but its not far off. The Good: The singles Get Your Roll On and #1 Stunna are the best tracks on the album. They try to get serious(for a couple of songs) and were able to make two other standouts. A N**** Could Know is one of them and the song where each member of Cash Money gives you an introspective on their lives in the chorus which is called My Life.
The Bad: Beatwasting is practiced on We Cant Be Stopped as The Hot Boys and Big Tymers ruin good production with bland lyrics. Sunday Night is flat out boring and file We Hustle, Hard Life and Pimp On under skip material promptly. The Ugly: No, No and Rocky have the dumbest hooks this side Puffy not to mention that the tracks are equally as wack the hooks. 10 Wayz is horrendous as Mannie Fresh gives you a how to on game with kids songing offbeat on the chorus. BG was the only thing notable on Stuntastic(and he was only on the hook!) and anytime the hook is better than the song itself, youre in trouble. Snake is a terrible way to end the album and is it me or does that song sound kind of fruity?
Bottom Line: While I Got That Work is not the worst album that Big Tymers has made its undeniably one of the worst albums of 2000. Big Tymers dont have what it takes to make a good album. Their bling bling talk and goofy schtick wears real thin after a while. They Got That Work? They Got That Bad Product and they better step it up before they lose their customers!"
