"METAL IS BACK!!

Beyond the Lies is an American Heavy Metal band from Northeast Philadelphia with the intent was to break away from the monotonous Tri-State music scene. With such influences as Slayer, Metallica, Machine Head, and Pantera.

In early 2009, the band underwent a drastic makeover. With the additions of Chuck Stadulis (Drums), Joe Gorski (Guitar) and Bob Hoj (Bass) transformed BTL into a musical powerhouse. With Chuck's otherworldly drumming, Joe's classical influences and odd meter, Bob's thunderous sound, the music was suddenly more melodic, dynamic and meaningful. Brian Cook (Vocals). Brian's poignant lyrics which cover such topics as murdered police officers, world extinction, family strife and incarceration have generated a buzz through the Philadelphia music scene.
