"This is a treat for harmony fans, mix of up and down tempo numbers to please any Betty follower or to attract new ones, roll on the next one, what about some blues numbers."
Powerpop trio croons cynically

"Limboland lacks the cracked dada charm of BETTY's first release Hello, BETTY! But the textures here are more varied and at moments quite stunning. The title track, "Baby Ooh," and "In Crowd" prove this trio to have more muscle and real grooves than any ol' Bananarama. "Metro" is the only track to break new ground for BETTY. Yet I miss the quirkiness and double entendre of their first album. Limboland seems as much a place between pop and art as a way to dance your blues away."
