"Don't You Want To Go? is the debut solo music CD album by Betse Ellis, well known for her fiddle playing as a founding member of "hillbilly riot" band The Wilders. Ellis' fiddle draws heavily upon traditional influences, and her music swells with the passion of a craftsmaster. Somes tracks of Don't You Want To Go? are traditional favorite songs, while others are original compositions; both types blend seamlessly into a flowing whole, highly recommended to fiddle music aficionados as well as public library collections. The tracks are "White River" (3:06), "John Henry" (3:50), "Run!" (1:54), "Looking the World Over" (2:56), "Bear Creek Sally Goodin'" (2:19), "Another Night Gone" (3:44), "La Cinquantaine" (3:03), "Walk Along John" (2:45), "Heaven Bells Are Ringing/Gone to View That Land" (4:37), "Mainz Waltz" (3:17), "Dont You Want to Go?" (4:27), "Hanson's Farewell" (3:51) and "In My Girlish Days" (5:19)."
