This recording is to be listened exactly as the title suggests...on a stormy weekend. I have always love musical performances that made my hair stand on the back of my neck and these pieces certainly do that. The strength and powerful Mendelssohn piece will relax and excite at the same time. I know it may sound impossible but classical music will do just that (at least for me). Don't let the price fool you, these recordings sound just fine if you have a regular stereo system or personal player."
