A bit of the new and old

"ARC records produces great traditional flamenco artists that never disappoints. I got this cd based on that. However, about half the tracks are "New World", "Nouveau", or new flamenco with Latin beats and such. Those tracks are still good but I'm all hardcore "Old World" flamenco. By all means this compilation cd provides the listener with both old and modern flamenco songs that are quite interesting. Great value for the buck and I'm sure the intention of ARC records was to expose Flamenco music at an intro price."

"You will be happy you chose this cd. Its upbeat and passionate. The music gets you off your seat flamenco dancing, even if you don't know how it doesn't matter. I discovered it while purchasing a couple much more expensive flamenco recordings. This was so inexpensive I figured it was worth the risk. And, this is the one album I listen to again and again. It makes everyone happy with the compilation of beautiful dance rhythms and some vocals. Highly recommended as a sampler of flamenco music."
