"I used to listen to Bent Fabric as a child (the Alley Cat album) and have been looking for some or all of the music from that album ever since CD's were made. I am so glad to finally be able to order this CD at last. The music is happy and definitely reminds me of simpler times."

"My parents are from Denmark, as is Bent Fabric. I Grew up listening to Bent Fabric Albums. "Alley Cat" and "Don't Tease the Tigers". Here it is 30 plus years later and I hear the Alley Cat via an email sent by a friend wishing me a happy friday. What wonderful memories the song brought back to me. Absolutely Love it! Thank you for having a CD I can buy with such happy tunes and memories all in one!"

"I've been wanting to hear this song again for the last 10 years, I think. I ordered it recently and I should get it next week. I remember hearing this song when I was about 12-years old, one bright sunny Spring morning while I was reading my English homework and it was branded in my brain forever. It's such a fun tune and I recognized others that I also love when I played the little 30-sec. samples. Like the lady before me said, in those days life was definitely simpler. Thanks Amazon for getting music that I thought was lost forever. I found some other CDs from the 50's and 60's that I will order in the near future, you can't get these in stores anymore. Aren't CDs fun ???"
"These instrumental tunes done in an EXOTICA-type style are real effervescent jewels of the 60s. The Seven LPs from which they came("Alley Cat","The Happy Puppy","The Organ Grinder's Swing","The Drunken Penguin","Never Tease Tigers","Operation Lovebirds" and "Relax With Bent Fabric") were most definitely classics of their time, and were some of the best-selling LPs that ATCO Records had then. It's just great to re-listen to these whimsical pieces of the 60s tapestry roll out the musical barrel all these years later."

"When I was a teen I heard Alley Cat, and thought the artist's name "Bent Fabric" was a hilarious joke, but his music captivated me back then. And I had totally forgotten the man and his music. But now listening to this CD takes me back to the 1960s and memories of happier times. I am so glad Mr. Bent Fabric is still with us, too!"
