CD ReviewsThe title says it all! 09/10/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "Benny Rides Again is a collection of some of Benny Goodman's later recordings. Even though they weren't recorded at the height of his band's popularity, they're still as swingin' as ever! The first half of the CD is comprised of selections performed by the full orchestra, while the second half is made up of small group recordings. Benny's clarinet ranges from lively and swingin' to deep and expressive throughout the CD. Since this is a later recording, the sound quality is pretty good, too. All in all, this is an excellent CD, and you can't beat the price!"
