"People respect good music (which this CD certainly is), but the music distributors do not always show enough respect.



The Ensayo release CD I bought was remastered at the wrong speed, resulting in some very beautiful music sounding dreadfully dreary.



I had wondered why I never listened to this CD, until one day I put an electronic tuner to the speaker and discovered that my feeling that the recording was too slow was verified by the flat pitch shown on the tuner.



Having the means to do so, I sped the recording up to pitch and found that I was missing out on some valuable music. The Tete Montoliu Trio is competent & tasteful, and Ben Webster demonstrates a distillation of his technique, with economy & expression, here in the last year of his life.



With all respect for the artists involved, I sincerely hope that this error will be corrected and more people will appreciate this work.
