"While I am not a hardcore fan of the cd I do think it has some good songs on here.I have definately heard worse. I'm surprised this cd seems to be overlooked by the bellydance community.
1.Takasem Sharky-sounds so off in the beginning, its like a fusion of two sounds that should have been seperated.By 1:14 it sounds a little better I actually liked it from there on out. Sometimes the accordian was too much though. It actually started sounding like habibi ya einy.
2.ADB ELHALIM REMIX-Was a nice song.I enjoyed the melody and could easliy see hip drops, figure 8's and graceful turns all over this song.
3. HABIBI YA EINY- as soon as I put this on I thought of veil work a troupe would look excellent doing this with veils.
4.LEH KHALETINI AHEBBAK- I just did not like. Period. But if your a good dancer you could pull it off.
5.ALF LEILA WE LEILA-Sounds like and upbeat pop songs
6.GANA EL HAWA-Very nice I could easily see myself dancing to this song
7. HEZ YA WEZ-Is also nice
8.SALMA YA SALMA-Is a strange sounding song I must admit but it sounds fun nonetheless
9.YA HABIBI YA GHAYBIN-Actually sounds like a song you would find in a fantasy bellydance performance.
10.JANA EL HAQUI-This sounds like a jazz song, even latin-y but I liked it.
The rest of the cd is filled with a combination of strange sounds. It has an interesting take on many middleastern songs. It also has a variety of different kinds of songs. Is it worth $16.00 like other bellydance c.d's no but for the price the purchase was perfect nice c.d to practice with and make up a choreography. This cd is definately for people who knows what moves to do with what sound
Over all this c.d is hard to rate not because its bad but because it sounds different that most of the bellydance c.d's it sounds like if you no how toput moves together you could make a wonderful perfomance with it again it is not bad at all and for the price even a little better."
