"I'm not an opera expert, but if you are looking at the highlights CD

rather than the full length opera, chances are you might not be one

either. For those fans of opera that really don't care that the best

performance of something was back in the 50s or that no one could ever

do it better than Sutherland or Callas and want to hear something that

was recorded on modern equipment then this disc is for you. It is an

amazingly high quality recording, the singers are perfectly matched,

the selection of highlights could not be better and Dessay's singing is

heartwrenchingly beautiful. Of the 1500 CDs I have, this disc has

absolutely rocketed into the top 5 of all time. I'm so glad I bought it

and you will be too."
