Light and lovely, as usual

"I would have to admit that so far, once you have heard one Magical Strings album, you pretty much know everything they are about. Luckily for them, the formula is an artistically and emotionally successful one: traditional and original tunes taken from all walks of music, run through gentle but lively arrangements for hammered dulcimer and harp, and assorted additional side-instrumentation. Pam and Philip Boulding, who *are* Magical Strings, should be congratulated for developing a popular music niche which is both musically nontrivial and aesthetically positive and pleasing--not that easy a task. "Bell Off the Ledge" continues that direction, and is well worth picking up."
