Essential for Beethoven lovers

"For a collection of very early works by Beethoven, I was quite surprised by the quality and the style that one can recognize Beethoven's stamp even on minuets. This collection of orchestral dances came about at a time when European nobles looked to established composers to write music for balls . Most of the pieces are just interestring and all well played

by the orchestra so as never get boring. But the German dances are well worth listening to again . Many are quite beatiful using horns. For Beethoven fans mainly.
