"This album is very good, but the other two albums (Sinatro & especially Cole) are super. Sensitive, surprisingly sophisticated, never show-off, yet quietly rich. Just right amount of juxtaposed elements, never get tired of listening. JT"

"Good choice of music, fantastic touch at the piano, great supporting rhythm section, strong jazz improvisation while not straying far from the melody............is there any more to say? I can hardly wait for the release of her next project which concerns our greatest composers of the past 100 years (a set of cds of Ellington, Kern, Gershwin and I don't remember who else............... she remarked on this at a personal appearance here in St. Louis this past Monday.The lady likes standards and particularly the period from the thirties through the fifties. If any of what I have said is your bag, then you will enjoy this and some of her other cds."
